Shane is a current resident medical officer at the Limestone Coast Local Health Network. He completed his medical degree training at the University of Adelaide, Australia in 2022 winning the David Crompton Prize of Ophthalmology and the Adelaide Undergraduate Scholarship.

Shane has had both clinical and academic experience within the field of Ophthalmology with multiple publications in international, peer-reviewed ophthalmic journals. He is currently undertaking a Masters of Philosophy (Ophthalmology) at the University of Adelaide. He has also been involved in various teaching roles as an Associate Clinical Lecturer at the University of Adelaide with experiences in multiple mini-interview training. 

Shane was born in South Korea and fluent in Korean and English. He is a keen musician playing violin and acoustic guitar as a performing artists in various charity events through the calendar. Outside of medical pursuits, Shane enjoys competitive video gaming and tennis, with his favourite player being Carlos Alcaraz.
