Josiah’s academic journey is remarkable; he previously pursued a double degree in Bachelor of Medical Sciences and Dental Surgery at the University of Glasgow before transferring to the University of Adelaide due to unforeseen COVID-19 challenges. His strong academic foundation, which includes high-level achievements in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry, reflects his commitment to excellence and his analytical skills, qualities he now channels into helping students succeed.
Beyond academics, Josiah has extensive hands-on experience in the dental field. From assisting with dental procedures to radiography assistance and more, he has built a practical understanding of clinical environments across multiple dental practices in Singapore. His leadership roles—such as President of the Singapore Association at the University of Adelaide—demonstrate his ability to connect, support, and mentor peers. His involvement as a dentistry school mentor has also prepared him well to engage students effectively, helping them to navigate the intricacies of dental admissions and interviews with confidence.
