Hasnain Bhurawala

Hasnain is a current medical student at the UNSW Kensington campus in Sydney, studying for a Bachelor of Medical Studies/ Doctor of Medicine program. Having sat the UCAT twice, he knows what it feels like to be a UCAT candidate. His most recent UCAT score was a 3140 (96th percentile) and he graduated from Al-Faisal College in 2022 with an ATAR of 97.85.

His particular strengths were in the QR and AR subsections of the UCAT where he achieved the score of 880/900 for Quantitative Reasoning and  890/900 for Abstract Reasoning. Hasnain was offered multiple medical and dental interviews from Australia by the likes of UNSW, Western Sydney University, Griffith University and The University of Adelaide, whilst also interviewing for UK medical schools such as University of Dundee, University of Aberdeen, UCLan (University of Central Lancashire), University of Buckingham and Brunel University. As a result, he successfully received multiple medical and dental school offers in Australia and overseas.

In his spare time, Hasnain enjoys working with multiple youth action groups in the Greater Western Sydney region and has held various leadership and mentorship positions in such groups over the past few years.
